Using the AI Landlord Assistant

The AI assistant is a chat that lives at /dashboard/ai-assistant (Pro and Portfolio plans, including the 1-month free trial).

What it's grounded in

• UK landlord and tenancy law (Housing Act 1988 / 2004, Tenant Fees Act 2019, Renters Reform Bill where in force).
• The havelo product itself (so you can ask "where do I add a contractor?" and get the right answer).

Things it's good at

• Process questions ("How do I serve a Section 21?").
• Compliance ("What rating do I need on my EPC?").
• Tax basics ("What are allowable expenses?").
• Product navigation ("Where do I find the compare wizard?").

Things it won't do

• Give specific legal advice (it'll tell you to consult a solicitor for contested cases).
• Quote case law from memory.
• Pretend to know things it doesn't (it'll say "I'm not certain" rather than guess).

Token budget

• Pro: 100,000 tokens / month (~100 questions).
• Portfolio: 500,000 tokens / month (~500 questions).
• Resets on the 1st of every month.
