Automate havelo: connect it to your other apps
Send havelo events to the tools you already use, and create havelo records from them. No code needed (Pro plan and above).
havelo can talk to thousands of other apps, so the busywork happens on its own. When something happens in havelo (a tenant reports a repair, say) you can have it show up in Slack, a Google Sheet, your email, or almost anywhere else. It works the other way too, so a form submission or a new spreadsheet row can create a record in havelo automatically.
There are three ways to connect, from easiest to most technical.
1. Zapier (no code)
Zapier is a service that links apps together with simple "when this happens, do that" rules called Zaps. It is the easiest option and needs no technical knowledge. See Connect havelo to Zapier for a step by step guide.
Good for sending repairs to Slack, logging new tenants in Google Sheets, or creating repairs from a Google Form.
2. Webhooks (for developers)
A webhook is a message havelo sends to a web address you choose, the instant something happens. If you or your developer run your own system, this is the fastest way to keep it in sync. See API keys and webhooks.
3. The havelo API (for developers)
The API lets your own scripts read and create properties, tenants and maintenance requests directly. See API keys and webhooks.
What you can automate
- Tell your team in Slack or Teams the moment a repair is logged.
- Add every new tenant to a Google Sheet or your CRM.
- Create a maintenance request from a Google Form, a Typeform, or a support inbox.
- Text or email yourself when an urgent repair comes in.
- Add a new property from a spreadsheet row.
What you need
- A havelo account on the Pro plan or above. Integrations are not available on Free or Starter.
- For Zapier, a free Zapier account.
- An API key from havelo (Settings, then Integrations). The guides above show you how.
Where to find it
In havelo, open Settings and choose the Integrations tab. From there you can create API keys and add webhooks. If you do not see the tab, you are probably on Free or Starter (you can upgrade under Settings, then Plan and billing).
