Quick start: your first 10 minutes in havelo
Add your first property, link a tenant, log a repair (the fastest path to value).
Welcome. Here's the fastest path to seeing havelo in action.
1. Add your first property
Go to /dashboard/properties and click "Add property". Fill in:
- Address (line 1, line 2 optional, city, postcode).
- Type (flat, terrace, semi, detached, HMO).
- Bedrooms, bathrooms.
- Monthly rent.
The dashboard's income projection updates immediately.
2. Add your first tenant
Go to /dashboard/tenants and click "Add tenant". Link them to the property you just created. The system generates an access code so the tenant can log into their own portal.
3. Log a maintenance issue (optional)
Go to /dashboard/maintenance and click "New issue". Pick the property, a category (plumbing, electrical, etc.), and a short description. You can attach photos.
4. Add a contractor (optional)
Go to /dashboard/contractors and add a plumber, electrician or general handyman. You can limit them to specific properties and set spend caps so quotes under (say) £150 auto-approve.
What next

/dashboard/applicants. - For compliance, add your gas safety, EICR and EPC dates in
